After college he opened a graphic design studio beginning his career as a professional artist and
taught graphic design courses at Baylor University.
He grew and developed the design studio servicing clients across
the country for nearly 15 years. He has always painted as his first love outside of the business
and his works grace the walls of family, friends and associates as gifts.
He recently sold a business to and has taken the time to pursue
his first love of producing fine art. He focuses his attention on portraits,
wildlife and southwestern landscapes using watercolor, oils or acrylics.
In 2008 he showed three of his paintings in the 10th Annual International
Landscape Exhibit with the Upstream People Gallery.
November 1, 2009 five of his paintings were shown
in the 11th Annual Painting, Drawing, Photography and Print
International Exhibition. These painting are Buffalo Spring,
High Meadow Grizzly, Land of Enchantment, Red Appaloosa

Charles is a native Texan but has lived in Arizona as well which has influenced his work.
